4. Usage Methods and Precautions:
1, The instrument must be properly grounded.
2, Connect the power supply, turn on the switch, the red indicator light will be on, and the current generator is ready for current rise.
3, Rotate the voltage regulator evenly clockwise, and observe the output current indicator on the operation panel until the desired high current is reached.
4, During the test, if any abnormal phenomenon is found, cut off the power immediately, find out the cause, and then proceed with the test.
5, After the test, the voltage regulator must be returned to zero, cut off the power with the air switch, disconnect the working power, and remove the test wiring in reverse order to ensure safety.
5. Precautions:
1, For newly installed or long-term unused equipment, before operation, measure the insulation resistance between coils and between coils and ground with a 1500 megohmmeter. It can be used only when the resistance value is not less than 0.5 megohm.
2, During use, the main unit and operation panel of the high current generator must be reliably grounded to ensure safety.
3, During use, the current should be increased slowly and evenly, and avoid excessive vibration during handling.
4, The contact surface between the voltage regulator and the carbon brush should be kept clean. If necessary, wipe it clean with cotton yarn dipped in 90% alcohol.
