The triple frequency power generator, also known as triple frequency generator and triple frequency transformer, is a power testing instrument developed and produced in accordance with the national standard "GB311-61", the "Regulations for Preventive Tests of Electrical Equipment" issued by the former Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power in January 1985, and the DL/T 848.4—2004 standard. The SF triple frequency power generator is designed to meet the requirements of the power system for frequency-doubled induction withstand voltage test equipment for high-voltage transformers. It is widely used for AC withstand voltage tests of series-excited voltage transformers at 35-220kV levels in the power system, to assess the main and auxiliary insulation strength of transformers. It can also be used for induction tests on windings of motors and small transformers, and can also be used as a 150Hz power source for short-term operation.
