Three-Phase Capacitance and Inductance Tester
It can measure the single-phase capacitance of grouped parallel capacitors or three-phase capacitors of various combined connection types without disconnecting wires, and it can also measure the inductance of various reactors. This instrument can also measure the current under power frequency conditions
Reactive power compensation capacitors are important equipment to meet the reactive power balance of the power system. In recent years, the reactive power problem has received widespread attention from the power industry, and complete sets of reactive power compensation devices have been widely put into distribution network operation. The power supply requires real-time balance of active and reactive power in the system. Therefore, reactive power compensation devices should meet the requirements of automatic tracking and real-time compensation, which inevitably requires frequent switching of reactive power compensation capacitor banks. The switching operations of capacitor banks can generate overcurrent and overvoltage impacts, causing capacitor damage. To ensure equipment reliability, early detection of capacitor defects, and avoid fault expansion, regular testing is needed. On site, capacitors are usually connected in parallel in groups. The traditional method is to remove the capacitor busbar and then use an old-fashioned capacitance meter for measurement. Since a capacitor bank consists of dozens to hundreds of small capacitors, the workload of disconnecting wires to measure capacitance is heavy, and frequent disconnection can cause screw slipping or not being tightened, leaving safety hazards, and also easily cause secondary damage to capacitors. Therefore, it is highly desirable to have a testing instrument that can measure the capacitance of each small capacitor without disconnecting wires, reducing the burden on maintenance personnel, improving maintenance efficiency, and enhancing the safety of distribution network operation.
In response to the actual situation on site, our company has developed an instrument that uses a new test method through research, which is the "Three-Phase Capacitance and Inductance Tester". This instrument can measure the single-phase capacitance of grouped parallel capacitors or three-phase capacitors of various combined connection types without disconnecting wires, and it can also measure the inductance of various reactors. The three-phase capacitance and inductance tester can also measure the current under power frequency conditions. The instrument is convenient for wiring, simple to operate, reduces the workload of maintenance personnel, greatly improves on-site testing efficiency, and provides safety assurance for the normal operation of the power grid.
1. The three-phase capacitance and inductance tester can test three-phase capacitors simultaneously, eliminating the tedious process of repeated disconnection and wiring.
2. It can measure the single-phase capacitance of grouped parallel capacitors and three-phase capacitors of various connection types without disconnecting wires. At the same time, this instrument can also measure the inductance of various reactors, and can be used as a power frequency current tester. One machine with three uses, meeting various on-site needs.
3. During measurement, the instrument displays the measured capacitance or inductance value, as well as the measured voltage, current, power, frequency, impedance, phase angle, and other data, for better analysis of the quality of the test object.
4. The three-phase capacitance and inductance tester adopts a 240×128 large screen with backlight LCD display, which can be clearly observed day and night. Chinese menu prompts make operation simple.
5. Built-in large capacity non-volatile memory: can store 50 sets of measurement data.
