External DC 12V Power Jack (Core wire is +) Precautions and Instructions: 1. This unit is equipped with a range (test range) adjustment function. In use, you can reduce the test voltage as much as possible to reduce energy consumption, extend instrument life, and reduce safety hazards. It also reduces test time and improves efficiency. It can also be used for group screening, inspection, and discrimination. Users can fully and reasonably utilize this function. Preset Voltage Adjustment Range: 0V ~ 1800V Range Voltage Adjustment Range: 100V ~ 1999V If the range setting or test value exceeds 1999V, the display shows overflow signal “1”. 2. The preset voltage value for discharge tube testing is the starting value of the 100V/S rate rising voltage, and also the lower limit of the test range. The preset voltage for varistor testing is only used as the lower limit for judgment; the actual lower limit of the test range always starts from 0V. 3. The preset voltage setting should be lower than the upper limit voltage of the range. Otherwise, the test voltage will be under the range (upper limit) limiting control state. During varistor testing, there will be a buzzer sound indicating over-range after each test; during discharge tube testing, the green light will be repeatedly lit, accompanied by an over-range sound alert. At this time, lowering the preset voltage will put the high voltage into the preset state. 4. The test voltage of this unit can be as high as 2kV. Keep the panel, test leads, and work surface clean and dry to avoid test errors caused by leakage current, arc, or corona. 5. A two-phase three-wire power socket must be used, and the ground wire should be properly grounded. 6. Operators should take necessary high-voltage protection measures to prevent electric shock. Performance Features: Vacuum Arrester and Lightning Arrester Tester Discharge Tube Measuring Instrument, suitable for measuring DC parameters of overvoltage protection components such as zinc oxide arresters (varistors), metal ceramic two- and three-electrode discharge tubes, and vacuum arresters. It can also be used as a stabilized voltage or constant current power supply for other applications.
