I. Overview:
The test transformer (hereinafter referred to as the test transformer) is also known as a booster transformer. It is the basic test equipment for power stations, power supply and distribution systems, scientific research units, and other large users. It is used to conduct insulation strength tests at specified voltages on various electrical products, electrical equipment, insulating materials, etc., to assess the insulation level of products, discover insulation defects in the test object, and measure the ability to withstand overvoltages.
II. Structure:
TQSB-10KVA/50KV Oil-immersed Test Transformer is made of high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheets stacked. The coil is a concentric pagoda-shaped multi-layer cylindrical type, with the low-voltage coil inside and the high-voltage coil outside; the shell is portable, with advantages such as small size, light weight, beautiful appearance, and easy movement.
50KV Test Transformer uses a power frequency 220V (380V for 10KVA and above) power supply connected to the control box (console) (as supporting equipment for the test transformer, please refer to the control box (console) instruction manual for details), and adjusts 0-220V/380V voltage through an auto-transformer to input to the primary winding of the test transformer. According to the principle of electromagnetic induction, the secondary (high-voltage) winding obtains a voltage amplitude of the same multiple according to the ratio of turns to the primary winding - power frequency high voltage. This power frequency high voltage can be rectified by a high-voltage silicon stack and filtered by a capacitor to obtain DC high voltage, where the amplitude is a multiple of the effective value of the power frequency high voltage. High-voltage test complete equipment XC-5KVA control box and 5KVA/50KV/0.2KV high-voltage test transformer are used together. The products are divided into two types: with air switch and without air switch. Customization is available upon request, and there are pointer type and digital display type.
Product Use:
The XC series voltage-regulating control box can smoothly output 0-250V AC voltage and has multiple monitoring and protection functions. It is used in conjunction with test transformers, current boosters, and other equipment or for other electrical tests.

V. Usage Method:
1. Connect the wiring correctly and turn the voltage regulator counterclockwise back to zero. (Voltage cannot be increased if the regulator is not at zero.)
2. According to the test requirements, set the "time relay" and "current relay".
3. Plug in the power cord, the power indicator light is on, press the close button, and the power transmission indicator light is on. (At this time, voltage can be increased.)
4. Rotate the voltage regulator handle clockwise at a uniform speed to the required value.
5. Start the timing switch, and when the "timing buzzer alarm" sounds, it indicates that the time is up.
6. Turn the voltage regulator counterclockwise to zero, press the open button, and the power transmission indicator light goes out.
7. Unplug the power cord and remove the wiring, the power indicator light goes out, and the test is completed.
VI. Precautions for 10KVA/50KV High-Voltage Test Transformer:
1. During use, this instrument should be reliably grounded.
2. The voltage increase and decrease process should be uniform, not suddenly fast or slow.
3. During the test, the monitoring instruments should be observed at all times to detect unexpected situations in a timely manner.
