10000A High Current Generator
Adopting portable ergonomic design and advanced microcontroller control technology, this instrument is simple and convenient to operate. The entire testing process is reliable and stable, with intuitive and quick readings. The application of high-precision sensors effectively ensures the accuracy of test data. The complete testing unit includes: high-precision millisecond timer, true RMS ammeter, current sensor (imported), voltage regulator, high-power current generator (imported materials), microcomputer controller, printing function (optional), and other parts.
Main Features:
This series of products adopts split or integral structure according to different volume and weight, featuring stepless adjustment of output current, smooth current rise, wide load variation range, reliable operation, and simple operation.
Main Applications:
High Current Generator is a special equipment designed and manufactured for power departments and large industrial and mining enterprises to conduct power equipment tests. It is suitable for current load tests and temperature rise tests of various switches, circuit breakers, current transformers, and other electrical equipment.
Precautions:
1. The test work must be carried out by at least two people, one operating and one supervising, to ensure safety.
2. The casing must be grounded. Do not ignore personal safety accidents due to low voltage. The instrument must be well grounded. During use, the current generator transformer and the operating console must be reliably grounded to ensure safety.
3. The wires from the secondary side of the current generator to the test object should not be too long, and the cross-sectional area should be sufficient (current density can be considered as 6-8A/mm). The contact surface should be cleaned (can be polished with fine sandpaper), otherwise the joints may heat up, and the current may not reach the rated value.
4. Before work, check that the power supply has sufficient capacity, otherwise the power cord may heat up and the voltage may drop, affecting normal operation.
5. There should be no flammable materials at the work site. For temperature rise tests, sufficient fire extinguishing equipment should be prepared.
6. For continuous (temperature rise) tests, someone should be on duty at the site. Regularly check the heating condition of the current generator source equipment, wires, and joints, and make records. Due to fluctuations in the grid voltage, pay attention to adjusting the TD to maintain the rated test current. During the test, once any abnormal phenomenon is found, immediately cut off the air switch power supply, and conduct the test again after finding out the cause. After the test, the voltage regulator must be returned to zero, cut off the power supply by the air switch, cut off the working power, and remove the test wiring in the reverse direction to ensure safety.
