High and Low Voltage Pressure Regulating Cabinet
DARUI Electric recommends for you
The basic function of the pressure regulating box is to reduce the higher pressure gas to the pressure required by the user and keep it stable.
The working principle of the pressure regulator: gas enters the pressure regulating chamber from the inlet. When the valve port is opened, the gas passes through the valve port into the pressure reduction stage, controlling the gas pressure within the range required by the user.
The working process of pressure reduction: the inlet pressure enters the lower chamber of the main regulating diaphragm. The lower chamber is balanced by spring pressure. The balance position determines the opening of the valve port, thus allowing a certain gas flow. During operation, when the inlet pressure of the regulator drops instantaneously (i.e., when the flow rate needs to increase), the force acting on the main diaphragm decreases, the main diaphragm descends, driving the valve stem to increase the valve port opening, thereby increasing the flow rate, and a new balance is formed between the spring and the outlet pressure. Conversely, when the inlet pressure of the regulator rises instantaneously (i.e., when the flow rate needs to decrease), the force acting on the main diaphragm increases, the main diaphragm rises, driving the valve stem to reduce the valve port opening, thereby decreasing the flow rate and maintaining the outlet pressure unchanged. If the outlet pressure of the regulator needs to be changed, rotate the pilot regulator's pressure setting screw; clockwise is to increase pressure, counterclockwise is to decrease pressure. If the required pressure value differs greatly from the original set value, the pilot regulator's spring should be replaced (generally, the outlet pressure has been set according to user requirements before leaving the factory; do not adjust it arbitrarily unless there are special circumstances).
When equipment failure causes the outlet pressure to continuously rise to a certain value, the shut-off mechanism activates, cutting off the inlet gas source and stopping the gas supply to the regulator. If the outlet section is affected by external factors such as temperature rise, causing the outlet pressure to reach a certain value, the relief mechanism activates to stabilize the outlet pressure at a certain value. To restore gas supply, after troubleshooting, manually and slowly open the shut-off valve.
