The distribution network capacitance current tester measures the capacitance current of the distribution network directly from the secondary side of the PT. Compared with traditional testing methods, the distribution network capacitance current tester does not need to deal with the primary side, so there is no danger of testing, no need for complicated safety measures and waiting for lengthy dispatching commands. Simply connect the measuring wire to the open delta terminal of the PT to measure the capacitance current data.
Since the distribution network capacitance current tester injects a weak heterodyne test signal from the open delta of the PT, it neither affects the relay protection nor the PT itself, and avoids the 50Hz power frequency interference signal. At the same time, the output end of the tester can withstand 100V AC voltage. If a single-phase ground fault occurs in the system during measurement, it will not damage the PT or the tester, so no special safety measures are needed, making this work safe, simple, and fast, with accurate, stable, and reliable test results.
